The Simpsons 12×21: Simpsons Tall Tales
The family wins a trip to Delaware, but Homer refuses to pay the tax on the ticket, so they ride the rails and meet a hobo who sings and tells them some tall tales. The first is the tale is about “Paul Bunyan” and here we are treated to Homer playing the role of Paul as a giant doofus, a natural role for him. The next tale shows us Lisa as “Connie Appleseed,” who tries to convince the pioneers to eat apples instead of buffalo. The third tale isn’t really tall, it’s a Mark Twain tale about Tom Sawyer (Bart) and Huckleberry Finn (Nelson), whom go on the run when Huck won’t marry Becky (Lisa). |
The 4400 1×5: White Light
Tom is furious after finding out that Lytell has taken his son Kyle into custody. Diana offers to help him in getting Kyle back. Meanwhile, Richard suspects that Collier is trying to take control of Lily’s life, and as soon as Collier reveals his intentions, Richard and Lily leave Arcadia Estates. Danny snaps at Shawn when he finds out that he and Nikki have slept together. Tom and Diana finally find out what really happened to the 4400, which leaves a disturbing question: is this the end – or just the beginning? |

The OC 4×16: The End’s Not Near, It’s Here
The Cohen family says goodbye in the series finale as the episode jumps six months after the earthquake to show the Cohens, Ryan, Taylor, Summer and the Cooper women trying to piece their lives back together. The Cohens find out that fixing up their old mansion would cost more than rebuilding it but Ryan and Seth see this as an opportunity to give Sandy and an expecting Kirsten a surprise that’ll change their lives. |
