Gilmore Girls 3×22: Those Are Strings, Pinocchio

Rory finally learns her mother can’t afford to buy the Dragonfly Inn since financial aid for Yale didn’t come through. She decides to take matters into her own hands with a quick visit to her grandparents right before graduation. Luke has second thoughts about a trip with Nicole after something Lorelai tells him. Jess makes silent contact with Rory after her graduation ceremony from Chilton.

Gretchen and Self wind up with Scylla (and a buyer). Michael, whose condition is deteriorating, winds up in the hands of The Company–who promise Lincoln that they can save Michael’s life in exchange for a favor.

Sex and the City 3×18: Cock-A-Doodle-Do

Mr. Big phones Carrie and invites her to lunch, which she accepts against Miranda’s advice. Samantha’s sleep is being disturbed by the noise made by some transsexual prostitutes, and she ends up inviting them in for a rooftop party with the other three friends. Charlotte receives an early-morning visit from Trey, who’s finally ready for her. Miranda is feeling that her life is in a rut, and runs into Steve on a couple of occasions.

Vince has yet to ink a contract for Aquaman, but that doesn’t stop him from spending big bucks to decorate his new mansion. Eric is stressed out by all of the spending and pushes Ari to seal the deal. Meanwhile Drama is fixated on getting calf implants at the cost of $10K.

CSI NY 3×24: Snow Day

After Flack makes an enormous drug bust, and locks it up at CSI, the drug lords infiltrate the building at gunpoint to get them back. Now the team must resolve the hostage situations, all the while with Mac, Stella, and Hawkes trapped inside.

After discovering the true perpetrator of the bus crash, Veronica is desperate to warn others before it’s too late. However, she inadvertently puts herself and her loved ones at risk in the process. Meanwhile, Keith tracks down Woody in hiding, Wallace leaves for Paris to be with Jackie, and Weevil again runs into trouble with the law.

Nip / Tuck 2×16: Joan Rivers

Joan Rivers consults with Sean and Christian to have all of her plastic surgeries undone, because she wants her grandson Cooper to learn that you don’t have to be perfect. When she ultimately learns what she will turn out like after the work has been finished, she decides to give up on her original plan and asks the doctors to schedule her for a facelift the next morning. Matt is concerned about Ava, who seems obviously depressed. He suggests they go away to Paris and start a new life together, which she reluctantly accepts after some convincing. Matt goes to McNamara-Troy to steal drugs for her to take with them. Christian finds him, and gets upset when he learns Matt is going to Paris. Christian goes to have a talk with Ava, and when trying to make a point using sex, he learns that Ava is really a transsexual. Julia, Sean, and Christian spend the night researching, and trace their way to Maryland and a Gender Reassignment center. They learn that Ava’s surgeon was a retired doctor by the name of Barrett Moore. Avery was a homosexual admirer of his, but Barrett could not love him the way Avery wanted him to. He perfected his plan for surgery, and made Avery a woman. They married, but their marriage was not perfect. Since they could not conceive, Barrett used a surrogate, and Adrian was born. Ava could not live with the pain, so she left with Adrian when Barrett was not home. Julia confronts Ava, and tells her that she knows her secret - and that she will reveal it to Matt if she does not break up with him by the end of the week. Ava needs one more surgery before she’s complete, and Sean and Christian call Barrett in to help. Barrett asks Ava if he could meet Adrian, and she agrees to let him do so. When Matt comes home with the plane tickets, Ava gets upset by his constant mess making, and breaks up with him. In tears, Adrian comes home with a knife hidden behind his back. He once again tries to get his problems spoken. She tells him that Matt is out of the picture, and that they’re going to go away to Paris together to start over. Adrian still knows something is missing, and we hear the noise of a stabbing. Adrian killed himself. He never got to meet his father. Upset, Ava decides to leave for Paris alone. The entire family - Sean, Julia, Annie, Matt, and Christian - have dinner together, very similar to the previous season finale. Sean repairs another victim of the Carver. Escobar lives in Sean’s head as his conscious and tells him how to face the demon down. Sean decides he needs to lure the Carver to his house, and face him man to man. He has security cameras set up for protection, and brings a gun to bed with him. As the Carver creeps through the dark hallways, the Carver strikes. Sean is alone in his bedroom, and Christian has been slashed by the Carver.

Gilmore Girls 2×22: I Can’t Get Started

Sookie’s wedding draws near, while Lorelai finally relents and goes into the diner, where she apologizes profusely to Luke. Christopher comes to town for the removal of Rory’s cast and decides to stay for Sookie’s wedding. While Lorelai and Chris seem to be getting along, Sherry drops a bomb. Meanwhile, Paris is running for student body president, and employs Rory as vice-president. Also, Jess returns to Stars Hollow and asks Luke if he can stay. But when worse come to worst, Rory must choose between Jess and Dean.

Friends 4×24: The One With Ross’s Wedding (2)

Phoebe tries to get in touch with someone to warn them that Rachel’s on the way to the wedding. Meanwhile, Ross and Emily’s parents meet at the wedding rehearsal dinner.

The Simpsons 12×21: Simpsons Tall Tales

The family wins a trip to Delaware, but Homer refuses to pay the tax on the ticket, so they ride the rails and meet a hobo who sings and tells them some tall tales. The first is the tale is about “Paul Bunyan” and here we are treated to Homer playing the role of Paul as a giant doofus, a natural role for him. The next tale shows us Lisa as “Connie Appleseed,” who tries to convince the pioneers to eat apples instead of buffalo. The third tale isn’t really tall, it’s a Mark Twain tale about Tom Sawyer (Bart) and Huckleberry Finn (Nelson), whom go on the run when Huck won’t marry Becky (Lisa).
