O’Neill wants to go fishing and Carter wants to stay on base to work on a project. As O’Neill is leaving he is suddenly transported to Thor’s ship where he encounters many mechanical spiders. When he finds Thor he is informed these are replicators, an even greater enemy to the Asgard than the Goa’uld. He tells O’Neill that they (Asgard) need his help to defeat them.

In the season finale, J.D. and Elliot start thinking about their future and if they both made a mistake in not being with each other. The Janitor activates the “Brain Trust” to come up with the perfect wedding gift for Elliot.

With Deep Throat’s insistence, they discover evidence of secret government project code-named Purity Control, which uses human test subjects and infects them with extraterrestrial DNA. However, the evidence and everyone who has seen it is quickly being eliminated.

When Ray witnesses Debra's hypersensitive mood and generally annoyed reaction to everything he says and does, he checks the calendar and realizes it's going to be a long couple of days ahead. In his desire to get a "quick fix" for Debra's womanly problems—thus making his life a heck of a lot easier—he turns a bad situation worse by suggesting that a simple pill will help with his wife's insufferable mood swings.
