After Homer wrecked his car company, Herb has become a bum, but with a little help from Maggie, he thinks he has come up with a shoo-in invention that will put him back on top. Herb wants to build the first baby translator, a device that will interpret babies’ cries and mumbles into plain speech. Homer agrees to fund the research and when Herb’s business takes off, he buys the family gifts. Lisa gets a book-of-the-month membership, Bart gets a NRA membership, Maggie gets what the dog’s eating, Marge gets a new washer and dryer and Homer gets a vibrating chair.
CSI Miami 2×24: Innocent
An adult film actress is found strangled in the park and the CSIs must find the killer. Blood and human tissue are found under Ashley Anders’ nails and the DNA matches that of the CEO of the company that distributes her films – and he’s a registered sex offender. Also, Calleigh discovers his answering machine audiotape on which he makes a threat against Ashley. However, there is an accident back at the lab with this crucial piece of evidence and Delko was the last person to handle it. Now, IAB’s Rick Stetler is put on the case, much to Horatio’s dismay, as the CSIs try to uncover further evidence in order to find the girl’s killer.
After arriving at the Cannes Film Festival, the guys attempt to sell Medellin for a good price, before the movie is even screened. In the end, the film is bought from an unlikely source, at a much lower price than anyone wanted. In the meantime, Drama enjoys his celebrity status, since Viking Quest is very popular in France.
The two forensic teams come back together under the leadership of Grissom and Catherine just in time to tackle three separate investigations: a murdered couple found in bed in a suspicious trailer explosion; a beautiful stripper discovered dead and dumped in the worst part of town; and two bodies found baked and decomposed after spending five days in the trunk of a car exposed to the hot Vegas sun, forcing the CSIs to "wrap" up the evidence and bring it back to the lab for further analysis.

The CSI's are called out to investigate the disappearance of a boy whose father died four years ago. Soon a couple is arrested at a convenience store with a boy matching the description of the missing kid. The only problem is they both claim it is their son. Both parents have exactly the same picture of the boy, with a scar on exactly the same place on his face. They hope a DNA-test could confirm who the real parents are, but when this information comes to light, it lead to another bizarre twist, possibly murder.

When it turns out the officer died from friendly fire, it is up to the team to find out who fired the fatal shot. Meanwhile, Sofia is wondering whether she fired the fatal shot or not. She decides to hide the fact that the officer stepped into her line of fire, afraid it will ruin her career.
