Sex and the City 1×12: Oh Come, All Ye Faithful
Miranda’s lover always showers afterwards, as he’s a Catholic. Carrie discovers Mr. Big takes his mother to church on Sundays. Samantha falls in love with a perfect man, but he doesn’t measure up to her requirements. Charlotte consults a series of soothsayers about whether she will ever get married. Carrie breaks up with Mr. Big.
Sex and the City 1×11: The Drought
Carrie’s relationship with Mr. Big is moving into a more mundane, less physical stage, and she’s worried whether it’s due to her inadvertent flatulent indiscretion. Charlotte is dating a former lover of Carrie’s, and finds that he’s not interested in sex anymore. Samantha discovers that not having sex can be erotic. Miranda hasn’t had sex for months.
Sex and the City 1×10: The Baby Shower
The four friends are invited to a baby shower out in Connecticut, and they each react differently. Carrie is “late”, and wonders how she would be as a mother. Samantha throws an “I don’t have a baby” shower party.
Sex and the City 1×9: The Turtle and the Hare
Mr. Big tells Carrie he’s never going to marry again, which unsettles her. Miranda introduces the friends to the Rabbit, a mechanical aid, and Charlotte becomes addicted. Stanford Blatch proposes to Carrie as a cover, so he can inherit his part of the family fortune.
Sex and the City 1×8: Three’s a Crowd
Charlotte is dating Jack, who wants a threesome, but she is unsure. Carrie discovers that Mr. Big has an ex-wife, and feels threatened. Samantha is seeing a married man; when his wife finds out, she proposes a threesome to keep their marriage together. Miranda feels unattractive and looks for affirmation that she isn’t.
Sex and the City 1×7: The Monogamists
Carrie is spending all her time with Mr. Big, and then finds he’s not being exclusive, which she can’t handle. Miranda has broken up with Skipper, but when she sees him out with another woman, she tries to get back together, on a non-exclusive basis, which he can’t handle. Samantha goes apartment hunting, supposedly with a realtor on an exclusive basis, but actually continues to use others.
Sex and the City 1×6: Secret Sex
Carrie has a photo session for a bus side poster to promote her weekly column. She has her first official date with Mr. Big and worries that she has ruined the relationship before it has started by sleeping with him so early on. She researches people who have relationships in secret. Miranda discovers her boyfriend’s fetish. When Mr. Big doesn’t show up to see the maiden voyage of her promotional poster on the side of a bus, Carrie suspects she is only his secret lover, and confronts him.
Sex and the City 1×5: The Power of Female Sex
Neville Morgan, a famous artist, visits Charlotte’s gallery and invites her out to his Connecticut home. Carrie is introduced to a handsome French architect, who pays her for sex. Skipper confesses to Carrie that he’s becoming hooked on Miranda. At his studio, Morgan shows Charlotte his new works, and asks her to pose for him, which creates the question of whether her awe of him as an artist will outweigh her modesty.
Sex and the City 1×4: Valley of the Twenty-Something Guys
Carrie and Samantha start dating guys in their twenties. Carrie dates Sam and at first all they do is kiss but it soon escalates to sex and Carrie breaks it off when she wakes up and sees his messy apartment and realizes that she’s too old to date a guy in his twenties.
Samantha dates Jon and she can’t believe how good the sex is but she too breaks it off with him after he makes a comment about the wrinkles in her neck.
Charlotte doesn’t know what to do when her current boyfriend wants to have anal sex with her. She talks to Carrie, Samantha and Miranda and finally decides not to do it because she doesn’t want to be known as the up the butt girl.
Sex and the City 1×3: Bay of Married Pigs
Carrie is secretly set up by married friends and she decides to try him on to see if he fits when she discovers that he’s looking to get married. He buys a new place and he invites her to the house warming party and tells her to bring her friends. She brings Charlotte and Samantha so they can meet men but when they get there they discover that all the guests are married couples. Samantha gets extremely drunk and Charlotte lets her stay over at her place. In the middle of the night while Charlotte is asleep Samantha, still drunk, goes downstairs and gets the doorman to come upstairs and have sex. Miranda, believing that she’s a lesbian, is set up with another woman. She decides to let her co-workers believe it hoping that it’ll help her get further in her career but then she decides that she can’t keep up the charade and comes clean. Carrie decides that her marrying man doesn’t fit so she dumps him on Charlotte but he doesn’t fit Charlotte either.
